A company based in Colombelles (Calvados, Normandy), and a subsidiary of the InVivo group.
InVivo, the leading French agricultural group, became a mission-driven company in 2020 with the goal of promoting the agricultural and food transition towards a resilient agrosystem. The activities of Soufflet Biotechnologies, renamed Solyve in 2024, are fully aligned with this initiative.
Our team of experts develops enzymatic solutions to help food companies meet challenges such as process optimization and improving the quality of food and beverages. Our mission and belief are to provide our partners—manufacturers, formulators, and distributors—with effective, sustainable, and non-GMO enzymatic alternatives.

Creation of the biotechnology division under the name Lyven within the Cagny sugar factory in Calvados.
The division is relocated to the Colombelles site near Caen, and Lyven is sold to the Soufflet Group.
The activities at the Colombelles site are renamed Soufflet Biotechnologies.
The Soufflet Group is acquired by the InVivo cooperative union, leading to the creation of the Episens wheat division.
Soufflet Biotechnologies is rebranded as Solyve.

Unique Expertise in Solid State Fermentation (SSF)
A natural and non-GMO process for enzyme production.
We develop our own strains of microorganisms in-house based on market needs. These microorganisms are cultured on solid agricultural co-products and then subjected to an optimized fermentation process that directs the production of specific enzymes. The resulting enzyme complexes are then isolated through juice treatment.
